Hunt Maine Moose-Bear Home

You have just entered the site of one of Maine's most
premiere moose hunting adventures offering one of the
most exciting hunts in Maine. We are located in zone 6 just
north of Houlton Maine in the little town of Littleton. This area
is one of the best trophy moose hunting areas in the whole
state of Maine. This area offers back country wildness hunts.
With all the vast woodlands right at our doorstep we offer a
hunt take gets you away from most all other hunters. We
also have a lot of farmland right here at our doorstep to hunt.
As for our methods of hunting we prefer calling. Using this
method allows us to bring trophy bulls into close ranges for
a quick and easy shot for both bow hunters and gun hunters.
We do most of our calling in the backwoods away from
roads for a greater chance to call in a trophy bull. Most of our
moose are shot at a range of 20 to 60 yards when calling.
We also hunt using spot and stalk. When hunting spot and
stalk we usually hunt around clear cuts and farm fields
areas where moose are mostly likely to be feeding. This
method usually does not get real close most of the time
around 100 yards so this is more of a gun hunt, but we have
had some shots at 20 yards hunting this way. We also hunt
in zones 5 & 11. This hunt requires a permit which is
obtained through the moose lottery held in June. You can
